A studio based in New Brunswick

The studio

An atelier built for bespoke work

Nokaba is a boutique studio run by one person. Every project that leaves it, whether a website or a consulting mandate, is designed and built by the same hands, to the same standard of quality from the first detail to the last.

That way of working makes a real difference for you. No salesperson makes promises here, and no subcontractor falls short of them. You work with one person, start to finish. I learn your business, lead your project throughout, and remain your point of contact well past launch.

I deliver websites that reflect who you are: visually striking, technically advanced, built to win clients over. I also deliver consulting mandates that give your communications a real backbone and the clarity they deserve.

About

My services

Two ways to work together

I shape my work around your needs, your timeline, and the character of your organization.

01

Website design

You need a polished business website, tailored to your industry, easy to update on your own, and serving both your image and your growth. I design and build the entire site, from positioning to launch, with flexible post-launch support. Every site also comes fully written, with copy suited to your field in both French and English.

02

Communications consulting

You need an outside perspective on your communications, a clear plan, an editorial overhaul, or regular support without a full-time hire. I consult on set mandates, with defined deliverables and a schedule I keep to. From a one-off audit to months of ongoing support, I shape each mandate around your organization.

The Belhavre universe

A fictional seaside town, a real portfolio

6Districts
14+Entities
3Days of access

Belhavre appears on no map. This small seaside town exists nowhere in New Brunswick. I invented it from scratch, because a carousel of screenshots will never match the feel of clicking through a real site. Every building opens onto a site I designed and built to the last detail, as if the business behind it truly existed.

The town runs as an ecosystem. Each district has its own mood, each address its own story. Modest projects stand next to bolder ones, and new places will open as the studio grows. You get a living demonstration of what I can deliver, and a real way to picture your own project before it exists.

Belhavre is not open to the public. The sites it houses represent weeks of work, and I reserve access for those seriously considering working with me. On request, I provide private three-day access to the building that matches your sector.

The Belhavre universe keeps growing. I add new entities over time.

My approach

Six steps, from our first call to long after launch

Website or consulting mandate, the method is the same. Here are the main steps.

  1. 01

    Discovery

You see exactly what I can do, by walking through the Belhavre universe.

  2. 02

    Listening

We discuss your business, your ambitions, and your constraints in detail. Everything that follows rests on that first conversation.

  3. 03

    Design

I propose a complete direction, whether visual, editorial or strategic, and you approve it before I build anything.

  4. 04

    Build

I build your project week by week, sharing interim versions you shape as we go.

  5. 05

    Handover

I implement what we agreed on and hand over the keys. From there, you manage it yourself or entrust its upkeep to me under a maintenance plan.

  6. 06

    Support

I stay your point of contact for adjustments and future changes. Depending on your needs, this work is done on a pay-as-you-go basis or under the maintenance plan you chose at handover.
